                  I think we have national days because these are one of history's greatest events so we celebrate them to remember what this significant events really mean traditionaly . 

        

                                                                               

   There are benifits in national holidays such as martin luther king he was a protester that fighted for african americans rights .
veterans day easter day halloween thanksgiving, valentines day.  But holidays need a person to fund it . Like lets say st patricks day it is not called saint for any reason it is called like that because there was a saint called st patrick. AS well like christmas have you ever heard in that word christ   mas.
