Blog Post #5 Dear alien , let me tell you about earth

                                           
                                        Dear Alien,

                    Earth has been a wonderful place to live. I hope one day you could show me where you live one day. Anyways I hope you get this picture of earth and I will tell how earth it is . Right now earth are going through many wonderful events such as , Valentines day, Election day, school choice week , and christmas which is in December.
We also have here in earth museums amusment park alien games arcades restaraunts but they do not serve alien food and there is no parking for alien cars or else their going to tow it away. Also I wanted to show you my school  and parks. I hope that one day we excersise together and drink some water somewhere. For your information alien, water is something we need or we die .                   I think we have national days because these are one of history's greatest events so we celebrate them to remember what this significant events really mean traditionaly . 

        

                                                                               

   There are benifits in national holidays such as martin luther king he was a protester that fighted for african americans rights .
veterans day easter day halloween thanksgiving, valentines day.  But holidays need a person to fund it . Like lets say st patricks day it is not called saint for any reason it is called like that because there was a saint called st patrick. AS well like christmas have you ever heard in that word christ   mas.

                    So  three educational websites I use for educational purposes are

typing.com                    
                  Well I use typing.com to learn how to type faster and learn the keys. I also use illuminate to check my grades and to know which subject I need help with. Finally I use study island to get practice on any subject I need help with , especially math. And this domain is edu. because it is education  programs.



         2 I use  you tube  and I also use google to see images of my favorite  tv show dodger player and lots of other things I like  . In this case the domain will be .com                   




                                                          

Blog Post # 2 - Grit

                                                                                                              

                                                      

. What is grit ?
Grit is facing or going through a challenge that makes you want to give up but don't.

. Describe a challenging experience in your life when you showed grit.
Well I showed grit because I had 20 percent on my math grade . And I actually thought that I should quit. But I did not left my self down and thought I could do this and that I am smart. So I tried the best I  can and first I got a 40 % then I got and have a 60 %. So I wish that I could get a better and higher grade and I will keep going and showing more improvement.


Do  you think that grit should be taught in schools? If so , how?

Yes I think that they should teach grit in other schools because this inspires kids to keep on going to the end of their challenge and never to quit.

Setting Goals

                                Personal Goal - My personal goal is to have all the school  goals because when I grow up I could go to many universities such as, ( Cal State Fullerton, USC, UCLA, HARVARD, and UCI.) I want to go to college because I want to make my parents proud because they never had the chance to get a good education .So I would love to pass all my 6th grade goals.

                                  Academic goal - My academic goal for technology is to memorize all the typing keys so that I can be a faster typer. I also want to know where to press when I am lost because , sometimes I can press a buton and I don't know if I pressed the wrong button or not .
